Mr. J.C. Crowley has over forty five years of experience in both the building and heavy construction industry as well as real estate development. He brings to Crowley Group his vast knowledge of construction whether it is a monumental project, an office building, college campus, paper mill, strategic defense installation or housing project. Notable projects that he has managed include the Lincoln Center Julliard School of Performing Arts, New York State Albany Mall Campus, New York City Coliseum, and numerous projects for the New York State Dormitory Authority.
After a twenty five year tenure with Walsh Construction Company where he held various positions including Chief Estimator with an annual bid volume over $2 billion and Director of Building Construction Operations responsible for over $500 million of annual revenue, he started his own building firm in New York. Under Mr. Crowley's Chairmanship, the firm was awarded over $32 million of work in the first year of operation. He has since left that firm which has grown to over $400 million in construction annual volume to pursue real estate development ventures with
Crowley Group.
At Crowley Group, he is responsible for construction management, project controls, value engineering, labor relations, and owner/buyer negotiations. Mr. Crowley coordinates estimates, contractors, cost control, design and
pre-development planning to project implementation to occupancy.
